Contribute FeedbackDespite some inconsistencies with the menu and service, Black Saddle is a great go-to spot with excellent employees and a picturesque patio setting. The food is varied and delicious, with a nice atmosphere and live music. While some items may not always be available, the overall experience is positive with good food, great views, and friendly service. It may not be fine dining, but it is a reliable option for a casual meal in Snowmass.
We had a fine dinner. The room is rather undistinguished but service very good.

We have eaten many times before at the Black Saddle. This particular night...a Thursday...apparently was busier than they anticipated. Our server (Irina)was overwhelmed, we barely were served and she looked and acted overwhelmed. Had to wait a long time to get our order in, she never asked if we wanted dessert, and we waited a long time to get our bill. Food was fine.
Met with friends for dinner. Even away from the music it was quite loud. I had the Korean ribs and our friends said ask for sauce on the side. Thank goodness!! Ribs were great; sauce way too strong and salty. Black Saddle is a much better value than Sage, the other club restaurant.
Good service, good food, good value. Will frequent often.
