What Tom Corbett doesn't like about The Anvil Inn Under New Management:
Excellent food, and situation normally would merit 5 stars, but the evening was completely spoilt by the chef having a Gordon Ramsey tirade, F-ing and Blinding against a young member of staff, in the kitchen clearly audible not only in the restaurant but outside in the garden. Just had a fantastic weekend stay here we were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in the food was excellent as well as the accommodation would definitely recommend staying/ eating here Thank you to you all Rooms: a good size clean room very comfortable bed the ensuite was a good size with plenty of hot water Food drinks: both breakfast meals were top quality the evening steak meal i had was one of the best steaks i’ve ever had
