Kay's Cafe - Smithville

I have a flat tire on my motorcycle literally in front of this restaurant. While waiting for my brother to pick me up with the pickup truck, I showed up at Kay's. The waitress was friendly and the food was great. All in all, I have to say that this place has an incredible feeling of home. I feel happy to be stranded from this little hidden gem. Cheers!

Always amazing! Super fresh, often locally sourced ingredients. I wish we were open every day!

This place is amazing! Was in desperate need of a hearty home cooked meal on a cold night. (Our kitchen was out of order. Went down to Kay 's cafe and we weren 't disappointed! Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed the rustic country atmosphere. We enjoyed pot roast from the special menu, grilled cheese, big evil burger and a hot roast beef sandwich. For desert, an homemade strawberry cream cheese cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. The price was on point. We are ALL still reminiscing about our meal. We will certainly be back!!

A hidden gem. Found out about this place and the word was true. Out standing food and service.You won't go wrong in trying this wonderful little place, wish I could have known about it sooner. Great Food, homemade, like mama made it.

Best food in the world. Company Potatoes we ate tonight, pictured with our homemade salad on the side. King Ranch Chicken is great. Swedish meatballs... We're super fans of all foods. We order via Kays Comfort Food FaceBook page.
