What Newtocruisingcdn dislikes about Chuckles Jack Family Dining:
We had seen the menus online snd were looking forward to their Indian food. When we arrived, there was a very scaled down menu with breakfast items, burgers and sandwiches. I am not selecting a rating as we did not stay to order. View all feedback.

I had the Butter Chicken Poutine for lunch today, and I was absolutely blown away! Chuckes, you never fail to impress me. Delicious!
What a delightful find in Smith Falls! I went for dinner last night with a group of four, and everyone was enthusiastic about the dishes. The authentic curries were fantastic! Chef Ram...

Just want to share a little piece of heaven we have come across these past few months. If you are Looking for a nice place to eat that is reasonable price, great service, food to die for, and right close to home. Surprisingly, it is in our small town of Smiths Falls! Try it people, something different to offer then Brockville and closer then Ottawa and Kingston. The place is called CHUCKLES JACK!!!!
We have a delicious dinner tonight Indian Naan was amazing! My son had the adult burger and wished he could have one every day. The fries were delicious. My sister has the seafood fettuccine with garlic pesto and really liked it. The owner, Ram, served us, made recommendations and they were top notch. We’ll be back again !!!!
The calamari and butter chicken are the best I've ever had in my life. The attention to detail in the food is evident in every meal I've ever had here and knowing everything is made fresh to order keeps me coming back. The professionalism of the servers and staff is outstanding. Very happy that you are open again in SF!
Had dinner tonight with some co-workers, I had the grilled veggie penne it was delicious, two others had the butter chicken and raved about it! The whole eating area looks wonderful. The only thing I would suggest would be to frost the window into the kitchen area, it kind of distracts the eye from the dining room.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. There was no Indian food on the menu, and with the new ownership, everything has changed for the worse. I definitely do not recommend it.
Absolutely gorgeous little restaurant! The staff is phenomenal, the service was exceptional, and I highly recommend this this restaurant for any occasion! We came here 4 years ago for our wedding night and it was great then as well…4 years later and we were treated with just as much respect and courtesy!
Food was good and the service we received from Sabrina was great! She was very patient and upbeat.
I used to love this restaurant, but it has really taken a turn for the worse. For $170, you might end up with moldy food, completely different dishes than what you ordered, and a total lack of vegetables in the items they do manage to serve correctly. Even after we pointed out the mold and incorrect orders, the restaurant was unwilling to address the issues. There was hardly anyone there, yet we were told that they couldn’t help us that night and claimed they didn’t even know how to issue refunds. This is disappointing in any situation, but it’s especially upsetting considering how great this restaurant used to be.

Excellent food! Loved the curried spice chicken! It was perfectly balanced. The butter chicken was great too! The service was outstanding. A special thank you to Sabrina our server who was amazing! This is a hidden gem right in Smiths Falls. Looking forward to going back often! Well done!
I ordered the chicken sovlaki dinner for $20.24 with tax. It came with 2 spears of grilled chicken, broccoli, fresh carrots and sour cream. There was also a big jug of cold sealed water on the table.
We were able to pick up food for my wife's birthday. When they heard the meal was for a special occasion they threw in a free bottle of wine. The Butter Chicken was excellent as was the Chicken Korma. We also ordered their Samosas which we enjoyed. The portions were very satisfying and the service (though brief due to the limited interaction required by the lockdown) was friendly and welcoming. We will be back and I highly recommend eating here for dinner.
We went out with friends for dinner, and ordered a variety of dishes so that we could share everything. What an array of authentic flavours, beautifully served! I am quite familiar with South Indian Sri Lankan cuisine, and these dishes were both authentic, and very good indeed. The surprise of the evening was that the dishes all had such distinctive flavours. It wasn’t all curry powder and turmeric: the spicing was deftly executed, and being out of practice in “hot-spice events”, we appreciated the cook’s taking our request for mild heat seriously. Despite the mildness, the dishes were still very tasty and most enjoyable. Service was friendly, casual, efficient and also thoughtful. The bill was about what I was expecting, and I thought that it was good value. Who would have expected that such exotic treats could be hiding on a side street in small-town Eastern Ontario! Besides the South Indian Sri Lankan choices on the menu, the management has wisely included a well-chosen variety of western and Italian dishes on the menu as well. We did not try any of those, but I’d assume that the same quality that we enjoyed in our South Indian Sri Lankan cuisine would prevail on the rest of the menu. The mystery of the evening? The name. I have no idea why the name doesn’t offer any hint of what might await you behind that modest exterior. Or am I missing something?

We used this Restaurant on a couple of occasions. Has a good menu and serves very good food. It's frequently very busy and service can be a little slow when this is the case. Popular with groups.
Excellent service, very good food, nice location with great seating area. Will definitely come back again.
We were visiting the Healthy Living Expo and found this restaurant by chance. We decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised to find Indian food. We asked the waitress for her recommendation and we ordered 2 of the butter chickens which was her favourite. It was excellent. We had rice and added naan bread. I used the bread to sop up every last drop of the sauce as it was delicious. The other menu items looked interesting also and we will probably go back to try other dishes. I found the prices fair and the portions decent.
Food is great, portions perfect and variety of menu is for everyone. Large seating area, great atmosphere with wonderful service.
