I absolutely love her hot milk latte with puppy-honey, and I've heard amazing things about her food. So far, I've only tried the German potato salad, which is heavenly! I do wish they offered more gluten-free options and opened a bit later in the afternoon, as I’m more of an afternoon coffee drinker. Overall, it's a fantastic place with wonderful staff! What User doesn't like about The Gilded Pear Brew House:
I enjoyed one of the dishes I tried, but not the other. The pear and cheese flatcake was excellent. Unfortunately, the waffle did not meet my expectations. I was expecting it to be light and airy, but instead, it was dense and cakey, reminiscent of something you might find at a hotel breakfast. I could make a better waffle at home. View all feedback.
Sunk old town with rustic interieur. excellent drinks, eating and very friendly staff. the speck, ei and speck jam in english muffin was excellent, like the crepes and sandwiches. there are a few small tables on the way and a handful of tables in the inner. more of a caffe.
Absolutely beautiful, quaint and charming. The Gilded Pear takes you back to the Gilded Age in aesthetics, but with the charm and kindness of the warm, southern flavors of North Carolina. The coffee is phenomenal, the service top notch and the crêpes are delicious and unique. My favorite coffee spot!
My daughter and I came upon this place a few weeks back and we love it! It's become our regular Saturday morning place! Especially love the Chicken and waffles and the English Muffins. Great staff and cozy environment. I am telling everyone I can. Recently tried the Roast beef sub and the Chicken flatbread. Amazing!
Wonderful everything! The atmosphere was casual and down to earth! I would definitely go here again! I ordered the French toast ham and turkey gruyere sandwich while my other member ordered bubble waffles with chicken tenders. Very nice! Felt relaxing and seemed like the perfect way to start or end your day.I will highly recommend!!! ?
Stopped in on a lazy Saturday around 9:30, we were greeted by a very friendly staff and the smell of a country farmhouse kitchen. I had the Monte Cristo and a cappuccino, both excellent. My companion had the English muffin and Boba Tea and found it equally enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
