Dessert was nice, a lot of food for a 3 course meal lunch time. Atmosphere is nice Kids friendly restaurant with colouring pencils available! Food is pricey though.

I used to love this restaurant. I loved their Brie and bacon panini and their English breakfast, plus a whole host of other dishes. The last three times I pre-orders either a panini it was awful. They were on inferior panini bread, there was hardly any Brie in it and it was packed with too much bacon. I tried to order that again and it was just as poor. I waited half an hour for it, when thought I pre-ordered it and it was stone cold. I then tried a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs instead of fried for a takeaway. I pre-ordered it and I again had to wait for Hal an hour for it to appear. I was given two slices of bread and all the elements for the sandwich were given to me in a plastic box. I had to assemble it myself when I got home. The quality of each individual element was awful too. The bacon was very fatty and extremely salty, the sausages were cheap nasty thin frozen ones and the eggs were over cooked. They used to serve their breakfasts with lovely fat sausages and good quality bacon and their scrambled eggs were never over cooked. It’s a crying shame because this was a great restaurant with a solid trade from the trading estate during the week and locals in the evening and weekends. I cannot see that continuing now. It’s changed hands a few times and I guess if people are not working from offices anymore then it cannot live up to it’s former glory. Service: Take out Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10

Our booking was confirmed, we even got a reminder the day before. Turned up and restaurant was closed and had been for a while for refurbishment apparently. System obviously needs sorting.

The food was nice, however the service wasn't super friendly, it could have been a little more friendly. Additionally it was very dirty in there, the floors and chairs and tables could do with a good clean before customers attend as for someone like me, seeing dirt around me makes me question the hygiene of the kitchen and then it puts me off my food.

Very disappointing! This is not the Tummies i used to go to! In fact it should not be called Tummies as the restaurant does not reflect the name it was famous for! I think my words speaks for itself! Unkept, dirty, no proper menu, sorry to say it was awful!

More information

Several regulars have noticed variations in meat cuts and bread choices over recent visits — this often points to changing suppliers or menu tweaks. If you have a strong preference (for example a juicier cut or a particular bread style), calling ahead and asking for the chef's note or 'preferred cut' can help ensure you get what you expect.
