Happy Eater - Sligo

Everything we ordered from here was horrible! The chips used are frozen chips, completely tasteless and nothing like actual chipper chips. Got garlic cheese chips and curry chips and both were just thrown in the bag,no lid on the container or anything. Couldn’t even eat the burger, meat was horrible and it had no ketchup or onion or anything on, just horrible coleslaw thrown on the bun. Avoid this place. Never again.

I have been here often in the last 14 years and usually it's quite good. The ingredients are unfortunately not good, the quarter pounder was disgusting. The chips were chunky and homemade on the last visit, this time tasteless. The telephone rang constantly and the owner made no attempt to answer it. He has lost interest in his craft.Avoid the place.

Definetly the very best takeaway I have had for ages. Gourmet steak burger is fabulous , fabulous homemade chips and garlic sauce. Staff friendly and chatty . Will be going back again.

Honestly if you're passing through Sligo don't miss stopping here or if you live there and have eaten out of here yet you're missing out. We were passing through and stopped for food and had the best homemade chips homemade proper beef burger ,homemade chicken tenders and the best garlic sauce,homemade too ,curry sauce was fab aswell. The atmosphere in the shop is friendly and welcoming, you just feel at home in the restaurant. The staff made sure we were well looked after and I can't wait to get back and try more from the menu but whatever I get next time will definitely be having the homemade chips and garlic sauce with it

Food was extremely fresh matched with fast service and nice staff. Definitely recommend will 100% be returning.
