I was told to call back in 1 hour because they were busy... read more First of all the food was excellent. I called to make reservations Thursday evening for Friday evening. I was told to call back in 1 hour because they were busy. Very unprofessional I thought. Reluctantly,. I called back Friday and made reservations for Friday evening. The food was once again excellent! However, $10.50 for a drink floored me. If I'm going to get screwed I would at least like a kiss.. I would go back but only drink water or tea.

The fish is the freshest I have had at a restaurant in Slidell. The creamed spinachis very good as a side. The ambiance is relaxing, staff were very attentive. They also have a lunch menu.

Even then, having d... read more Honestly incredibly disappointing. We made plans to have this food placed as a to go order for our business, when no one answered the phone. Even then, having decided to drive to the restaurant and place this order, I couldn?t find a restaurantemployee until I walked around the restaurant to find someone. This is at 11:15, 15 minutes after they?re supposed to be open.When I asked if I could please place a to go order, she said ?we won?t be fulfilling to go orders because we are short staffed.?Does that even make sense? Definitely not, considering the place was totally empty. The staff member that I did speak to was onher cell phone, and unwilling to help in any way. She simply refused my order, the only present paying customer, so she couldcontinue on being entertained by her phone I guess. Incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL, UNHELPFUL, and UNWELCOMING. I will never goback.
