We stayed on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock without reservation. We enjoyed Calamari and Bacon Wrapped Scallops as starters. For the main course we had the Cobb Salad (with Grilled Shrimp) and the Bacon and Cheddar Burger (delicious Sourdough Bungalow). For dessert we share a sequence of bread pudding. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Nice dining room, we'll be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nathan's:
First of all the food was excellent. I called to make reservations Thursday evening for Friday evening. I was told to call back in 1 hour because they were busy. Very unprofessional I thought. Reluctantly,. I called back Friday and made reservations for Friday evening. The food was once again excellent! However, $10.50 for a drink floored me. If I'm going to get screwed I would at least like a kiss.. I would go back... View all feedback.
Happy Hour! The bar is small, but great. We ate Valentines once. Very good food!
Planned a 90th birthday party and the experience was great, we had a party of 11 and were in a private room. Food was amazing and the service was top notch. We will be going back in the future. Thanks for making a birthday extra special
Phenomenal dinner! Decided to try the meatball appetizer for the first time. It was solid! I had tonight's special of pompano. It was light but delicious. I also had a bite of the steak which was incredible. Dessert was the chocolate bourbon pecan pie and it was the perfect finish to the meal. The bread pudding was also phenomenal. Nathan's was an absolute winner tonight!
Wonderful experience tonight. The restaurant had a good crowd and did a fantastic job handling multiple large tables. Service was timely and food was phenomenal. We had crab cakes and brussel sprouts as appetizers and both were great. I had the duck entree and it was the best I have ever had. We can’t wait to go back soon!
I go to Nathan's frequently for lunch and for dinner. They have a great menu for both and frequently have wonderful specials. The service is always consistent and the pricing is and keeping with expectations. The best part is the food!!! Their steaks are always cooked to perfection and they always have fresh seafood. Chef Ross brings his best everyday to make an experience here priceless!!! Check out this local gem whenever you're in Slidell
