This is the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I've had in a long time. It was wonderfully cheesy! The bun was fresh, the onions and peppers were grilled to perfection, and the steak was tender without any gristle.
I love this place. Great Food and Great Service! I was in Slater for work and asked a local where to eat at the gas station. I asked the right person. My tenderloin sandwich was so delicious that this past weekend I had to go back to Slater and that'sthe first place that I headed. If I was a local, I'd move in!
I stopped by for dinner after biking the High Trestle Trail and had a spicy tenderloin sandwich along with a few beers. The tenderloin was juicy and tender on the inside, with a nice crispy outside. It was also quite large—I could barely finish it! The beer selection offered a great variety of local and well-known options, so there was something for everyone. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area again.
The food was great, and the staff seemed friendly. The only downside was the price of the small pizzas. At $10 for a personal pan pizza, plus a 50-cent surcharge for takeout, it brought the total to over $11. That’s quite a jump compared to Allys, where the prices are significantly lower. Aside from that, I have no complaints—the taste of everything was excellent!
This new bar and grill has a super sports atmosphere and upscale for a small town. That was impressive. They have a very good stocked bar with TVs behind it to watch the games. They didn't seem to know importance of greeting or hosting when you firstcome in yet but sure their TV bar presence is focus. For some reason I expected better than normal bar food. The fries some likebut too hard crispy and salty for my taste. The classic burger there is huge and smash which I like except I would like it morewell drained. Toppings were very fresh and good. The wait staff was not into their job with customer service other than lookingthe part and minimal help. A smile or friendly conversation is good. Overall it should be great for a particular customer nicheand glad to see it there.
