A lovely roadside hostelry, with good parking, a great welcome and a great atmosphere. We went with friends on a weekday lunchtime and it was very busy, which in itself is a recommendation. The food was quickly served, well-presented, and tasted wonderful. I’d fully recommend a visit. We will certainly be going again.
Really nice spot for dinner. Charge extra for a Yorkshire pudding with your Sunday roast which doesn't sit well with me. Food quality is good, staff friendly. Only a handful of vege options for the Mrs but she really liked the lentil pie. Went again with the old man for lunch, not really one for salads but highly rated the crispy beef salad. Sitting outside in May was a treat.
Food preparation was nice but very little vegetarian options. The waitresses kept loosing us but we're making up for it with descent tasting food. Seating spaces were quite stuffy so you can ask to open the windows if weather allows.
Lovely public house and restaurant with biker friendly staff. Just the break we needed after a ride out
