Although we were told there would be a 20-minute wait, we were seated within 5 minutes. The food was quite average. I had a burger that was cooked well, but it lacked flavor. The fries were nice and tender. My friend ordered the Nachos Supreme, but the chips were completely buried under toppings, making them soggy by the time they reached us. I tried an apple cider cocktail, but it tasted artificial, more like cough syrup than actual juice. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and our server was attentive, with our food arriving promptly. Overall, I don’t think I’d return for a second visit, but it seems like a decent spot for those looking for a quick drink at the bar.

I love their oysters, fresh fish and if it's the season STEAMERS! The staff is attentive, friendly and funny. It feels like at home, and I still have to be disappointed by a single thing I ordered in the six years I visited here. Give him an attempt you won?

Also ordered the jersey frits that were not bad, but came with the most artificial cheese sauce I ever had. Luckily it was on the side. We ordered both burgers who were absolutely terrible. At first it came with a huge pimple that they placed under the potato chips because who not like Soggy Chips?? It also had a Koleslawin? It was unnoticed. The burgers themselves? Well, the grill must need a cleaning, because even though they were pink inside, they were seduced to death on the outside. They also decided not to season the meat at all. We both took two bites before we plan our escape. But I had the hope that the waitress, when we see our almost untouched plates, might ask about our meal? No. Asked if we wanted a box or if she could just delete it. Then the boldness had to ask if we wanted coffee or desert! I guess she was just on autopilot or something. After leaving the Char taste, like a bad smell, until we get home to our valuable water pick! Haven?t had a bad meal / bad service combination like this in a while!

Tables were on the smaller side and tightly spaced. The menu was expansive, a lot to choose from. The nachos were pretty good, and ultimate fries were delicious, however the cheeseburgers were not our favorite. They weren 't bad, just nothing wow about them. Perhaps there is a better option on the menu that would sway me otherwise, but I ordered a burger.

You have to have the right expectation for this place this is not “fine dining” but this is an old school american eatery that has all the great unhealthy and tasty options my choice this time were BBQ ribs (takeout), for 25$ really great portion and it fell right off the bone. They also have an old school wraparound bar with regulars sitting at it. The photo only shows 60% of the rack that came with the package.
