I see many negative reviews, but honestly, this is not a bad point at all. The owner is loud and very proud to lead this place. He humiliates himself and brought my food personally and I am with a t-shirt in the early 20s. The guy's okay. The food I thought was pretty good and I enjoyed myself here. The price, we are in a very expensive area, everything is expensive and it is not even so expensive. View all feedback.

Casual, warm, and friendly cafe with pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and other American food. Order at the front and they bring it to you. Obviously a place with a lot of regulars. A married couple walked-in, and the waiter said oh hey, nice to see you again! Other patrons in the restaurant are two sets of gray-haired ladies, and a married couple with their teenage son. Playing soft Italian music in the background and they 've got two TVs mounted to the wall. Drink options are mainly a variety if sodas or juices, but they 've got wine too.
The menu offers a decent selection of pizzas, and I chose the classic pepperoni and the Grandma pizza. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated that my slices were served on a ceramic plate—a detail I found charming and that added to the restaurant's homely feel. Overall, the pizza was decent. The pepperoni pizza was a bit on the thicker side but was enjoyable with its buttery cheese and good flavor. The Grandma pizza had a delicious sauce and cheese topped with fresh basil, which added a nice touch to the overall taste. The crust on both pizzas was average, but I didn't have any major complaints. While it may not be my favorite pizza spot in Skillman, Vera Pizza is certainly a reliable choice that will satisfy your cravings.
The staff is friendly and very communicative. The wings are baked and you can choose to have the sauce mixed in or served on the side. Each piece is a good size. The pizza is delicious, chewy, and fresh. Even though I'm not usually a fan of pizza, I really enjoyed the simple pepperoni sausage. The service is quick as well.
The menu is excellent, featuring a variety of homemade specialties.
