Great traditional pub. Lovely food. Steak sandwich burger were substantial, tasty and good prices for the meals served. Friendly staff and very covid efficient. Good pint of Guinness too. Would recommend View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Annie Mays:
Very average dinner, food it was fine. Both waiter chaps were nice, friendly and helpful. Didn't really enjoy listening to the other staffs loud swearing bants over dinner. Surprised that the owner was sitting with the loud one' Wouldn't be in too much of a rush back. View all feedback.
Hungry for some food we stumbled across this absolute gem of a place. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food . Absolutely gobsmacked to find that our chef was completing his training at college because he cooked us two of the best plates of food we have ever had. The steak sandwich was juicy , cooked to perfection and just delicious. My partner's meat salad was full of top quality excellent juicy and tasty meat. Then there is the value . Never come here after any food because the portions are so generous you will never finish a mouthwatering meal. Simply brilliant

Just had lunch here, fantastic quality, great value and very generous portions, all in all a lovely pleasant experience, well done to all involved.
Beautiful food...I had steak sandwich (picture)so tasty my husband had turkey and ham dinner...Great service staff really friendly toilets really clean small cosy pub but great atmosphere
