Tucked away in the heart of Sitka, Beak restaurant offers a cozy, laid-back dining experience featuring a menu that highlights local Alaskan seafood. While options are somewhat limited, the quality shines through in dishes like salmon chowder and cedar plank salmon, complemented by an array of local proteins. The friendly service and charming atmosphere enhance the visit, making it a worthwhile stop for tourists and locals alike. Diners rave about the well-prepared meals, including the popular mac 'n' cheese and creative rockfish tacos. With reasonable prices for the region, Beak is a hidden gem not to be missed.
Stopped in for lunch after a bike ride. Staff was very kind and cheerful, food was pretty good too. The Beekers Mac and cheese with salmon was incredible. Definitely worth trying.
Excellent food, friendly helpful staff. Fun, laid back, with top notch food. The chef is a star! They specialize is Alaskan local seafood. Everything was delicious. Large portions, a truly delightful dining experience. Highly recommend! We went for dinner, and my daughter enjoyed the house salmon chowder then we shared the seared salmon and the mac’n cheese. Yum! A don’t miss!
We visited here while on our Alaska cruise. Their menu is very limited, and the prices were high. My family enjoyed it but im a little picky, and they didn't have anything on the menu that I liked. But if you like salmon or reindeer hotdogs, this place is for you.
