Superb! Wish we could have tried much more. Custom drink order and great chit chat with bartender and the burger was unique and delish! Might have to stop again on way out of town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I came in two different nights during my stay, the first night they were completely slammed, lounge was full, tables booked. I sat at the bar had a fantastic Martini and an appetizer of the salmon, which was delightful and filling. Service was great, it did take a little while, but was to be expected with how busy they were. Then I came back on a Tuesday, they were very quiet, I sat at the bar again, and was the only one in the lounge, I was able to chat with the server who was wonderful. I had the grilled cheese a fantastic version with zucchini in it, and sourdough bread that tasted so good. I got desert this time, a delectable chocolate mouse with blackberries, the presentation was beautiful, and it tasted so good, not too rich, and not too sweet. I chatted with the chef about the different berries of the region, and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much, I'd happily return the next time I come to Sisters. My husband and I tried Chops Bistro again after a lapse of a few years. We are so glad we did! We were greeted by our favorite waiter Michael formerly of Black Butte Ranch restaurants. He made the jump to Chops Bistro after the Black Butte Lodge went downhill after its remodel. The Bistro now has a fabulous chef who turned out two delicious meals for us. A moist halibut for my husband and a tender pork tenderloin for me. We talked to other locals there so it seems the word is spreading that Chops Bistro is the new great place to dine. The decor is up to date lodge style elegant. It’s a great place for a special dinner. Live music in their bar packed the place. We were there on a Friday so it was busy. We’re definitely coming back when we are in town. Try it! You’ll love it!
