After the show at the Greek theater of siracuse I and my family had the chance to find, in the area, this pizzeria still open is open until 1 !!! the appearance is simple and many things were already finished, but the pizza and the soccer were very good, the friendly staff and the account really, but really competitive . a pleasant surprise .

Looks can definitely be deceiving. After visiting the nearby archeological park, we decided on this restaurant because of the reviews and they were right on the mark. No frills and the place almost looked like it was closed when we arrived around 2 PM, but Francesco welcomed us and quickly cooked up some delicious pizzas for us their menu had like 3 or 4 pages of pizzas. And he prepared the best mixed salad we have had so far in Sicily. So if you need very good pizza in a non tourist local joint and you 're visiting the archeological park or the catacombs of San Giovanni do stop here!

This is a simple friendly restaurant, which does pizza really well. It's great value and the food is excellent. We had a margherita, which we find is usually the best way to tell a good pizza place and a Diavola. The margherita was delicious, the dough perfect and the flavours subtle. The Diavola was a contrast, strong salty bite. They also have a good selection of artisan beers to go with it, which were very welcome. Its clean and functional but no frills works really well. Well worth a visit close to the cathedral and Archaeological museum. They don't speak much English but it's easy enough to communicate if give it a go.
