Hillside Village And Saki - Siquijor

I would love to give this restaurant a full 5 stars, but unfortunately, this app won’t let me. I always wondered why everyone raves about this place but no one rates it higher than 4 stars. Now I understand: it’s definitely worth going for dinner before sunset. While you won’t actually see the sunset, the purple sky and the ambiance are stunning, and the food is absolutely delicious. Truly a delightful experience!

The restaurant needs something to reach, but it is absolutely worth it! the atmosphere is great for one they have a fantastic view and second they can sit in an elevated area on the floor (take their shoes when they do this; . we had 4 different dishes and all were very tasty and combined the Japanese kitchen beautifully with the locally grown vegetables. the best restaurant we visited on siquijor:

This restaurant has an amazing location! They offer a great selection of vegan dishes, all of which are delicious. However, their coffee is not their strong suit, so I wouldn't recommend trying it.

I asked what was vegan and it seemed there was just one option. It was really good and healthy. Spicy pepper roll and papaya salad. I was still hungry after but would recommend.

Location is truly beautiful and quiet with a wonderful view to the sea up from the mountain. Food was delicious. Plenty of vegan options. Pretty sure others dishes can be adapted. Friendly staff/owner. Definitely a place to go if you are in Siquijior island.
