Dagsa - Siquijor
Dagsa
Description
Experience a charming and cozy restaurant off the beaten path, offering okay food at slightly high prices. Despite some dishes falling short, the ambiance is relaxing, with attentive service and unique seating options. While the menu may no longer impress as it once did, the restaurant remains beautifully designed, making it perfect for drinks. Guests may find better seafood options elsewhere, but the boodle fight menu shines. Live music and a lively atmosphere enhance the dining experience, providing good value for money. Overall, a worthwhile stop for those seeking a taste of local cuisine in a picturesque setting.

The restaurant is amazing. Great food, good Service, fantastic atmosphere and nice location. Also they provide live music in the evening which is really good and enjoyable. I can highly recommend this place as a restaurant and bar!!!
This restaurant was so well made using natural resources of the island that i was at awe the whole time I was there. There are no walls so bugs especially mosquitoes can be present since there are plenty of foliage. The music was provided by a live band & intermittently with recorded music. There are bean bags for relaxing lounging in the middle of the restaurant which were very popular. There is a bar but i did not partake in it.
Goede atmosfeer live muziek en lekker eten voor een redelijke prijs kortom een aanrader! We hadden de kip burger en de viscurry allebei goed gesmaakt. Er zijn loungeplekken om te eten maar ook gewone tafels.
This restaurant used to be the top choice in Siquijor, but unfortunately, it has gone downhill. Most of the Western dishes have been removed from the menu. I ordered shrimp tempura, and although they were not battered and deep fried as expected, they were still overcooked and had a lot of waste. The presentation was also disappointing compared to what was shown on the menu. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is well-decorated, but the food quality has declined. It seems they are trying to compensate for the lack of quality by adding more garnish and other items to the dishes. The friendly cats and dogs that used to be there are also missing. For better dining options, I suggest going to Dagsa for drinks and music, or trying See-Kee-Hor, Tawhay, or other great restaurants in Siquijor for a good meal.
