Description

**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**

Nestled in Singleton, this restaurant has garnered a spectrum of reviews that reveal its fluctuating quality. While some diners rave about the exceptional food, generous portions, and friendly service, others express disappointment over dishes overwhelmed by spice and inattentive service. Regulars highlight standout menu items like the risotto and surf-and-turf, yet several patrons mention inconsistency in food quality and issues with ambiance. While service can be attentive, incidents of slow seating and overlooked reservations have marred experiences for some. Overall, the venue's charm and potential make it worth a visit, albeit with caution.

Maybe you would like to update your web site! The web site said your cafe was open, yet when a group of us went around for morning tea, the place was clearly closed and there was a sign saying “closed until the end of January.” Thanks very much, we won’t be travelling to this out of the way place again!

Does this place even exist? We drove past the Civic Centre looking for it but no joy. Weve rung multiple times but just get a message bank. Guessing they've shut down?

Disappointing. The chef needs to review his thoughts on 'a hint of chilli ' with his meal of Seafood Marinara. Chilli dominated the dish above all else including the 2 prawns, 2 scallops and a few pieces of calimari. Perhaps a more appropriate name should be 'chilli with a hint of seafood '. Not just my opinion... all seated at our table who tasted the meal agreed it was overwhelmed with chilli and almost inedible. Other comments from our table included almost cold garlic cob and unpleasant coffee as well as being overpriced. We will not be back and would not recommend.

Really enjoyed the food and the location, the service was friendly and helpful, we went with our three year old and they never once treated this is a problem, rather they included him in their addresses to us when asking for our order. We enjoyed the 3 course set menu which is well priced. The meatballs I had I recommend, if they are still on the menu when you go. The only disappointment was the lemon tart which had a almost soggy crust. The wine was from local wineries and a good price, and even though they had a large group we did not have any slowness in receiving our food.
