This girl was double handly fish without glo... read more Visited 25th Oct, staff had no idea who was doing what. The girl on the register was frustrated with the young boy. This girl was double handly fish without gloves then touching register then boxes money without washing hands. Cross contamination at a high. Being seafood then hamburger meat to Customers money and register screen I need to say no more. I watched for 20mins. Then came home requested no pineapple on hamburger to getting home to having to throw it out as I'm highly allergic this was also told to the staff member. I also chucked the chips and gravy out was not risking eating any of it after watching the cross contamination. Plus the long nails the girls had on is a great hiding place for germs Won't be back.

More times than not, it 's the latter. We mentioned this to the owners numerous times and still no improvement. It 's a shame Sandy 's Seafood at Heatherbrae had to close as they were the best in all of the Hunter Valley.

Good chips and fish cocktails were nice. Salad was nice too. Staff were great and helpful. The girls w... read more Not sure if new owners took over after all the bad reviews. But I honestly have no odea what everyone is complaining about. The shop is super clean! The girls working are very friendly. And the food was great. I got a double cheese burger and the quality was exceptional. The chips were perfectly cooked also. Moral of the story, don't listen to negative reviews
