Clean environment and plenty of choices. Tried their Teochew beef noodles great tasting especially the dry type. Crowd was crazy during lunch.

Built in 1983, the well ventilated Amoy Street Food Centre is a local culinary institution and their lunch crowd is a testament of that. With at least 5 MICHELIN Guide Singapore Bib Gourmand listings, the two-storey hawker is home to a wide range of stalls, hawking everything from curry puffs to modern fusion cuisine. Highly recommended but go between 900 to 1130am to avoid the crowds; no point visiting on weekend mornings as only a handful of stalls are opened.
Should have known better than to come on a Saturday. 90% closed as this place caters mostly for business people during the week. At Quan Ji, beef kway teow, crispy seafood noodles and shared some pork bbq ribs. All ok.
Lots of choices, mostly at affordable prices despite being in CBD area.. During peak hours, getting seats can be a challenge, also, there'll be long Qs for the popular stalls... Best to visit during non-peak hours, more enjoyable experience.
