My family and I were at TAO Seafood Asia for dinner last night. The food and service were exceptional. First up was the appetiser Crispy Fish Skin with Salted Egg Sauce. It was served hot and best eaten immediately. A must try appetiser. Everyone was then blown away by the TAO Seafood Asia Signature Soup with its flavourful thick broth and fresh ingredients. We were still talking about it after dinner. We also loved the Singapore Chilli Crab with deep fried local bun 'man tou ' , Singapore White Pepper Crab something different from the usual black pepper crab , Pot Roasted Chicken Caramelized in Rice Wine and Pot Roasted Cod. Dinner would not be complete without dessert. The Traditional Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts was smooth and not too sweet. Delicious! Will definitely patronise this hidden gem again in future if there is a chance.

Dined at TAO yesterday evening, had a great dinner with delicious food and excellent service! The complimentary achar tasted so nice I was attempted to ask for another serving :p Ordered chilli crab, chinese spinach in superior broth and stir-fried venison with spring onion and ginger. The chilli crab was really good, crab meat was the right size and very succulent and meaty. Sauce was yummy and savoury with undertone of ketchup and just the right amount of spiciness. The rendition didn't lose out to Jumbo or Melben Seafood at all. The chinese spinach leaves was very tender with light broth. The venison was very tender and flavourful. We topped off the meal with Guilin Herbal Jelly which was one of the best we eaten, very nicely chilled with slight tinge of herbal taste, love the after-taste, the whole mouth had this chilled and minty feel. Hope to back again to try other dishes!
