One of the iconic classic cafes in Singapore, which has been around since the cafe trend started years ago. I visit from time to time and always have a wonderful experience there. The atmosphere is pleasant, the coffee is excellent, and it’s never too crowded. Their desserts are also fantastic. This is the perfect place for a relaxing meal and meaningful conversations. Quaint little cafe that is cosy and warm. They've been around for ten years and that is a testament to the lovely bakes they serve. Recommend to try the pastries, cakes, chocolate here. Been here a couple of times. Personally enjoyed the waffles, the root beer cake (very special, should give it a try if you love root beer), the lemon meringue. Coffee is also smooth and aromatic. However, not such a fan of their cooked food.
Unique take on chicken and waffle, which came with fried chicken wings instead of chicken cutlet. wings were tasty, well seasoned and fried, just abit of a chore to debone it. waffle was crisp on the outside and fluffy soft inside, with just the right amount of maple syrup. ended the meal with a blackout cake that was moist and chocolatey. definitely worth trying if in the area.
One of the old timer in the opposite beautiful caffe. ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and mushroom paste. Both tasted fantastic. I can't say the same thing about the coffee, although he didn't appeal to me.
Nice cosy ambience with very friendly obliging young staffs. New menu change which carry more vegan food like mock breaded chicken, impossible meat pasta. You still can have honeyed fried chicken wings. The honey tasted like lightly salted and slightly spiced maple syrup.
Beautiful neighbourhood coffee shop. menu fusion is western and singapur dishes. food quality very good. atmosphere relaxed and cozy. they do very well. personal friendly and much serve all around. they are sometimes a little short on kitchen staff, which leads to longer waiting times for eating. parking in front of the restaurant. the prices are premium for the neighbourhood where they are located.
