Saizeriya - Singapore

One of the few restaurants in Hougang 1, a small neighborhood shopping center, is conveniently located near one of the entrances by the POSB machine, or right at the top of the escalator from the car park. Expect long queues during peak hours, but you can usually find a seat quickly. The interior has plenty of tables for seating. Like all Saizeriya outlets, the food is microwaved, but it's definitely good value for money. It’s cheaper than typical restaurant food, although the quality isn’t quite on the same level (but I find it acceptable). Notably, they offer escargots for those with more adventurous tastes. Personally, I enjoy the Milano gratin or doria, which consists of carbs (either penne or rice) baked with milk and Bolognese sauce. I would definitely return whenever I have a craving for Western food, especially since even hawker centers and coffee shops often charge more for similar offerings.

An excellent restaurant that offers great value for money, serving tasty dishes at affordable prices. It's perfect for diners of all ages and won't break the bank!

Overall, the food is really great! However, the mushroom and bacon risotto was a bit too salty due to the added cheese, bacon, and seasoning. It might be a good idea to ask the kitchen to use less salt. Despite that, the dish was flavorful, and I managed to finish it. I absolutely love the escargots, though they tend to be a bit overcooked. I highly recommend the chef salad and the chicken salad!

Located at level 1 near the exit to the car park. The restaurant used an online system to order, transactions were smooth while ordering. Just not sure how the system could manage for special orders. Food was very value for money. Seldom anyone could get a complete meal for less than $10. Managed to try many dishes. The squid was quite fresh and delicious. The escargots were a bit small, however, the sauce/seasoning for escargots was good. The desserts were great! The chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream was a good combination. Definitely would be coming back! Strongly recommended!

Affordable, I like popping by Saizeriya now and then to ordering multiple mains for myself without breaking the bank
