The Teochew cuisine at this hidden gem at the top of Scott's Square is excellent. The Teochew cuisine at this hidden gem at the top of Scott's Square is excellent. My family and I went there for a Chinese New Year dinner and were blown away by dishes like the cold crab, sharks fin, and abalone. The sea cucumber was also a standout. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies it. The wine list is fairly priced and includes proper Bordeaux and burgundy glasses, a rare find at a Chinese restaurant. My only suggestion would be for slightly lower prices and a more extensive wine selection.
I always enjoy satisfying my cravings for oyster porridge at this restaurant. The dim sum is also delicious. It's always necessary to make a reservation in order to secure my favorite seating.
I always enjoy satisfying my oyster porridge craving at this restaurant. The dim sum is also delicious. I recommend booking ahead to secure my favorite seats.
We had a wonderful family dinner on a rainy Sunday evening and were extremely impressed by the food! Everything we ordered was delicious and expertly prepared. I can't wait to come back soon to try the dim sum.
This restaurant is on the smaller side and only has a limited number of tables, so it tends to get crowded on Sunday afternoons. Making a reservation is highly recommended. It is one of the more upscale branches of the Paradise Group, evident from its location, decor, and tableware. Don't be fooled by the name of the restaurant - they also offer a range of traditional Cantonese dim sum dishes, as well as Teochew cuisine. The food was delicious and served promptly, definitely worth the price. I particularly enjoyed the braised abalone. The portions were generous, the seafood was fresh, the sauce was well-balanced, and the rice was of high quality and perfectly cooked. The har gow dumplings were huge and the shrimp was incredibly fresh. I will definitely order them again.
