Been to this place usually twice yearly. Even though dishes may be pricey, the amount of food is generous and you pay for quality. Guess going to Bali would cost even more AND the service staff are welcoming and pleasant with us as diners. Keep up the good service! What Louis Koh dislikes about Cumi Bali:
All disc are over priced and charged, most disc likely pre cooked, unless they reduce the price by 40%, otherwise it is not worth at all! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
Recommended by the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand, Cumi Bali is a well-loved Indonesian restaurant that combines authentic flavours with a warm, homely atmosphere — a perfect balance of quality and value. ️ Signature Dishes Cumi Bali (Grilled Squid) – A house specialty. Fresh squid grilled with homemade spice sauce, tender yet springy, with a sweet and spicy kick that leaves a lasting impression. Sate Madura (Chicken Satay) – Juicy chicken skewers marinated in a blend of Indonesian spices, grilled to perfection and served with rich, sweet kecap manis. Nasi Kunyit (Turmeric Rice) – Fragrant and fluffy rice cooked with turmeric, pandan leaves, and cinnamon. A perfect match with any of the mains. Es Cendol – A classic Indonesian dessert with coconut milk, palm sugar syrup, green rice flour jelly, and red beans. Refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. Ambience Service The interior blends traditional Indonesian art with rattan and bamboo furnishings, creating a cosy, tropical feel that enhances the dining experience. Price Portion Mid-range priceing, with portions ideal for sharing. Ingredients are fresh, flavours are authentic, and it’s good value for money. Verdict With its heartfelt cooking, bold Indonesian flavours, and relaxed atmosphere, Cumi Bali stands out as one of the top Indonesian eateries in Singapore. Whether you’re reminiscing about Bali or trying Indonesian food for the first time, this spot is well worth a visit. So do not expect too much as this is not a vegetarian restaurant. Dietary restrictions: Food is cooked in a healthier manner and is delish.
