$113 for 2 pax. Quite expensive since the food/drink is not refillable. But the experience was great! Loved the floral representation with the mist. Savoury and sweets were all delightful.
What John Doe doesn't like about One-ninety:
Met my bridesmaids for a high-tea session there and two of my bridesmaids are pregnant. Hence, we requested a changeout of some of the food items served (e.g. Smoked Salmon sandwich) which the service team shared that the chef said that smoked salmon is not raw and is safe for them to consume. My two bridesmaids that are pregnant were not comfortable eating it hence, we tried to ask for a replacement and the service... View all feedback.
A really gorgeous looking set up, with the dry ice and flowers! Easily one of the prettiest afternoon tea I have been too. Both the savory and sweets bites are quite above average, which was great! However the scones were really not up to the standard at all. It was very bland, almost tasteless and not as dense as what a scone should be. That said, I still think it’s definitely worth coming back again! Oh, and you get 2 drinks as well! Service staff was friendly, and quite prompt.
A very beautiful weekend afternoon tea time well spent at One Ninety. I love this special curated floral settings as well as the quality of coffee and tea offered. The scones are the best we ever tried so far!
Amazing place for afternoon high tea. The floral weekend afternoon tea set was dreamy and beautifully presented. The best part was the vanilla and blackcurrant scones were freshly baked so delicious!
The presentation of the food and drinks was spectacular, featuring real flowers and smoking dry ice, clearly designed for the camera. The flavors were good, with the violet macaron standing out as the highlight among the sweets. For the savory options, the truffle sandwich was particularly memorable. Many of the small bites were adorned with edible flowers, adding to the visual appeal. However, I found the balance of the sweets to be a bit too focused on sour citrus flavors, and I would have appreciated a few more mellow, sweeter options to create a better balance. The savory items were simple but well-executed, and the scones were delightful, especially with real clotted cream! I ended up quite full by the end of the meal, so I took some scones home, and the staff packed them beautifully in a takeaway container. The marigold and rose tea was light and floral, while the sakura tea, likely based on green tea, complemented the food nicely. I also tried the adorable apple blossom cocktail, served in a mini teapot! Overall, it was a lovely experience. With the cocktail, the total came to $80 after GST and service charge, which included two rounds of tea or coffee.
