Nice place, but lack of waiter, we went on sat evening for dinner, there were only 2 waiters, 1 on the cashier, another so busy cleaning the table etc.. hard to call him, also feel pitiful to him. In terms of food, desserts were all sold out : but the curry, as usual, it is nice. Takoyaki was so so.. Didnt really have proper photo, this is the cut off photo. View all feedback.
I love Japanese curry, but until now my only experience was at Coco's Curry in Okinawa. Monster Curry is now another favorite! If they built a Coco next door then it would be extremely difficult to choose between the two. I gotta say, the portion was huge though, so that would probably be my tipping point!
Food was scrumptious, love the curry and fried ebi! Manager was also super friendly and helpful with questions about food allergies. Will come back again!
Monster curry rice with a monster portion! This portion for 2 definitely feeds more than 2. Very generous with the ingredients given. After so long in the business, the standard is still the same as the first time I had it. Still in awe of its portion and quality (for this price range). Still very worth it. Can't remember what drink I ordered but it was very thick and overly sweet. Kept adding my own plain water to dilute it. Good part about it is that now it's like 1.5 cups of drink. Hahaha. Will definitely visit again!
Trying it for my very first time. The portion is huge. The curry is tasty. And the meats are nicely fried. Prices are affordable too. The rice combined with the curry sauce are very filling. I couldn’t finish half of it. 2nd review: on early June 2020, I decided to give it another go again via delivery. To be honest, the portion aren’t that huge. It only looks and sounded huge due to the super large plate and “monster” name. Via the delivery version, it was almost just like any other pork cutlet rice, probably 12% bigger in portion. They packed them in paper boxes, and from that, you can tell that it was just an optical illusion from the usual scene from dine in; It looked huge because they served you on a extra large plate. But I must admit their cutlets are crisp on the outlet and the quite tender inside (rooms for improvement . Their Japanese curry is sweet and savoury. They have level 1 to 6 flame sauce (aka spicy level , and I chose level 1 which already made me sweat. I have a Low tolerance for spice! So spice lovers would definitely enjoy a 3 to max level spice. I would definitely recommend to dine at monster curry if you are looking for a tasty, under $20 yet tasty and filling cutlet rice meal. Only feedback via their delivery, is that they should separate the spice from the curry! :
I enjoyed my lunch in this suntec outlet a lot. I was greeted by a friendly staff named Angeline. Despite wearing a mask, Angeline was cheerful and smiley, exactly what we need in this fnb and service industry. Angeline was polite and professional, which made my lunch experience a good one. The quality of the food is chef kiss! Will definitely return. Thankyou Angeline :
