Really authentic and excellent Japanese meal. We had fantastic tasting sashimi, salmon Kamameshi, gyu tan( beef tongue and bitter gourd. The setting is typical quaint Japanese small and homy setup. Will definitely come back again during my short stay in Singapore. View all feedback.
This quaint little casual Japanese restaurant is a gem. I could almost forget that I was in Singapore during the meal. I could really taste the care and quality in the preparation of the food. Considering such a wide menu, it was extra impressive. Every dish stood out, even the clam miso soup. The vibes were cosy, staff and service friendly and efficient. Fried oysters were well done, light batter and paired with a great dipping tartar sauce that complemented without overpowering. Guessing it was prepped from scratch. Mini uni don. GOOD uni. Crab miso dish in crab shell. Taste like the sea. Butter garlic mushrooms. Not stingy on the butter or garlic. So flavourful. Will be back for sure!
Nice lil Japanese restaurant run by Japanese. Frequented by Japanese so I would think it's good and authentic. I love their fried oysters!
1st visit dated Jan 2022 Was recommended by my daughter in law to try their signature dishes.. 5* for their signature Metai cabbages, the crunchy sweetness and Mentai pleasing ocean taste. 5* for the Tai fish freshness and sweetness of the soup, will definitely back again. Monk fish liver, salad and salmon belly also good to try.
