A very unique dining experience. Flying noodles is very photo worthy. Food is very good, beautifully presented and price of the omakase also very reasonable. We ordered the $58 $88 set, portion is just nice. We had a very fulfilling dinner. View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant is top-notch. The staff went above and beyond, offering to take pictures for us when they found out we were celebrating a birthday. We decided to try the $58 omakase menu, which included 15 items served over 1 1/2 hours. It gave us plenty of time to enjoy the food, engage in conversation, and share laughter.
The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and the portion sizes were just right for us. Despite the small portions of each course, we left feeling quite full after completing all 15 courses of the $88 Omakase menu. Some dishes were served together, but the timing between courses was well-paced. While the ingredients were high-quality, the taste of the dishes was average overall, with some standing out more than others. The Chilled Truffle Somen and Lobster Salad was a delicious starting dish, and the sashimi was fresh with thick cuts. However, the Mentaiko Lobster was tough to eat with most of the meat stuck to the shell, and the Wagyu Beef was slightly disappointing. The staff were friendly and efficient, even providing recommendations on the order to eat the dishes for the best experience. In conclusion, I would recommend giving their omakase menu a try.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were initially surprised by the dim lighting and charming cafe-like tables and chairs. However, we were ultimately impressed by the quality of the food. The standout dishes included the mentaiko lobster, oysters prepared in various ways, the fresh and flavorful tuna, the tasty unagi, and the truffle somen. Surprisingly, we found the tenderloin to be more enjoyable than the wagyu beef, as it was tender, moist, and packed with flavor. The wagyu was a bit dry but paired well with the ponzu dip. The foie gras on the golden tanuki sushi was too crispy and lacked the expected taste. Additionally, there were some changes made to the dishes that were not communicated to us. Our meal concluded with a delicious homemade cheesecake and black sesame ice cream. The lunch options include three omakase menus ranging from $38 to $88. The service was friendly and efficient.
This was my 3rd visit to this restaurant. This time, my boss Alvin brought us here for a group dinner. The Omakase here is reasonably priced with good quality of food. It was another great experience for us! Thank you!
Came here to try out the SGD 58 package omakase and overall it was a great experience. You would need make reservations for either 6pm slot or 8pm slot for the evening session, and each session takes about 1.5 hours to complete. There are a total of 15 courses per omakase package. For each courses served, the waiter/waitress would explain what are those dishes and which order to eat them (if they are served together). I came with 4 other friends and would think that this is a great place if you're looking for somewhere to savour your food and yet able to have proper conversation with your companions. The food is rather good for its price (personally I think the SGD 58 package is more worth than the SGD 38 package). But if you're looking to experience omakase then I think it's good to start off with the SGD 38.
