I would say worth the queue if it is like less than 10 to 15 persons in front of you. The wait around 1pm on a weekday is around 15 minutes. The curry is flavourful and chicken breast is very tender. Price wise is on the high side at $5.50 or $8, however, the serving of the ingredients are quite generous, with lots of meat, tau pok, however, lesser potato and fish cake. I always visit this place when I'm in Singapore! Their chicken curry noodles are some of the best I've ever tasted, and I just can't seem to get enough! :D
There are only three locations of the restaurant, so the other branches you may come across are not affiliated with them. Some of those other locations even serve rice or entirely different dishes. You'll understand the distinction once you try food from any of the three original places to experience the authentic flavor.
Random tried a stall for Laksa, to my surprise was quite good, creamy and tasty !!! @Live2nJOY
The laksa here is very flavorful and aromatic! The gravy has a perfect consistency—not too thick or bland. They also offer other dishes like rendang chicken and curry chicken, which you can enjoy with noodles, bread, or rice. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Maxwell!
