Converted wine cellar not far from the centre, decorated with huge wine barrels and hunting trophies. Tasty Mallorcan cuisine we had the arroz brut a wonderful broth laden with a selection of meats chicken, rabbit, mutton with rice as the foundation. The almond cake as desert completed the worthwhile experience. Good house wine [local rose sampled]. View all feedback.
What Willy P doesn't like about Es Grop:
A Tripadvisor average of 4 points creates expectations. Those were not fulfilled. The snails are not bad, the mussels average. The cod fish not spectacular. It is not bad, but very average. View all feedback.
Conviene llamar antes para saber si esta abierto. Call before to make sure it is open (even if Trip Advisor says it is open) or you might find it very closed.
I had the muscles and they were inedible I ate the first one and spat it out due to how bad it was, the rest of my family had suckling pig which were very disappointing.
We had a nice traditional Mallorcan lunch here today. The food was well cooked and presented and the portions were ample. Like the last reviewer, I found the olives uneatable but the alioli was excellent. BTW, the last reviewer did not eat paella but fideua, a traditional Valencia’s dish.
I can say of this restaurant, has a hand for exceptional cuisine, the waitress is exquisite and the cook a love. I blow his kitchen.
Awesome everything we try, and the unbeatable deal!
