The dining experience was excellent, with great service and a lovely atmosphere. I'm genuinely puzzled by comments about the portion sizes being too small; I found them to be appropriate and healthy. They also offer a fantastic deal on Tuesdays, where you can get one free child's meal with each adult meal, which is a wonderful perk. Plus, there's the option for outdoor seating. What User doesn't like about Smoqued Bbq:
First time customer. It’s was OK BBQ. When I got home with my 1# of brisket and 1# of pulled pork and four sides I was disappointed in the size of the sides. Tiny!! And only found one tiny side size of both mild and spicy sauces. One tiny portion for one pound of meat is definitely not enough. I’ll check out other BBQ restaurants and hopefully find one that is worth the money. View all feedback.
Tired this place for the first time and it was alright. The ribs weren?t bad just needed a little more rub/ flavor. However, it did fall off the bone easily. I?ll give them credit for that! The sauces are pretty good you just have to figure out which one pairs best with what you ordered. The beans were really good. Hot! temperature-wise that it burned my tongue. But besides that, the flavor was there. The sweet potato salad was different because it's served cold. It wasn't half bad but again I think it depends on what meat it's paired with. The pulled pork was dry with no flavor and needed a lot of bbq sauce.
Okay so maybe it was because we came in little bit before the restaurant closed because they basically ran out of everything which is okay... However what we did get was pulled pork, bake beans, and Mac and cheese. On a side note I always say if you walk into a BBQ spot and you don't smell smoke it's probably going to be bad. If I am honest it was probably the worst pulled pork I've ever had in my life. Maybe it was because it was late again, but there was no smoke flavor almost like it was cooked in the oven and very dry. And don't get me started on the the Mac and cheese.. I mean soup... Just look at the picture. The baked beans were okay in order to eat the pulled pork I mixed them together. Overall I wanna say maybe it was because it was late so I am going to give it another shot when it's earlier.
The BBQ here really surprised me. Everything was fantastic and I knew I liked everything when I over ordered and ended up eating every bite of food. The service here is also top notch. They were very attentive of our plates and needs. I am definitely glad to have a wonderful BBQ place in Simpsonville.
Food is delicious. I had the carnivores delight, which is technically a shareable, and I was stuffed of course. Great sauce selection.
This charming little restaurant is fantastic! The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the staff are wonderful. The burnt ends are simply incredible, and the banana pudding is delightful, even coming from someone who usually doesn't enjoy bananas.
