The group had a brilliant time to stay thanks to stunning weather and a great place. The food was Bergfries at his... Best. Varied, filling and very tasty. Just what you need after a hard day in the mountains in winter. Worth a visit.

I would recommend to go on the 615 then 650 Trail (over the barracks and back over the lower part of the...650 to create a circular walk from the third cable car station of Dachstein. The cottage is quite expensive accommodation, but dinner is good price and delicious (beer also reasonable. The rooms are fine (not forget a sleeping bag liner, and the dining area is beautifully made. Washing rooms are good, WC is sufficient. The shoe room is soooo odour: (pulp shoes, no boots in the hut). The staff was great and they take credit card... What a great experience around. If you get up for the walk (4 hours in 3 hours with 2 children under 10, don't hesitate. No climbing, just a few short rackets. Come in the evening before 6 o'clock or it's just a meal (and most of these huts like you before 6 o'clock. If you love luxury, this is not for you – there is a roughness for it – it is a hut! If you want a great experience, it could be.
