We just stopped at the Hen House and had the best home cooked meal. The burgers were great. But the pies were the best we have had on our cross country road trip. I consider myself a bit of a pie expert having grown up with a grama who was the best. These pies were the best. The owner and cook came out a to chat with us and helped us find some antique shops that were off the beaten path. A unique and delicious place... View all feedback.
Well the Hen House is NO LONGER... The Hen's have all flown the Coupe.... It is now Momma Smith's Cafe... Will write a review later...
Excellent diner with super friendly folks working there. Definitely worth turning around for, and be sure to write in the journal!
Quaint little restaurant, on the side of the road, in a small town. Family owned and operated. Homemade dishes, made with love. They accommodated my vegetarian diet, turning the turkey melt into a veggie melt, served on homemade bread. My side was a spinach-artichoke soup that was to die for! Homemade desserts are offered. My cousin had the Apple pie; I choose pecan. Both were excellent, with melt-in-your-mouth, flaky crusts. I would highly recommend the Hen House to anyone traveling through!
This business is closed, and is now Momma Smith's Cafe . . . which I highly recommend for their burgers!

Also take time to write in the journals she has and read what others have written.
