Was Mark B at Circus Room Diner a mag?
I am giving this diner a rating based on what it is. I have been here multiple times with my family and everyone always leaves satisfied. The deep fried cheesecake is a must-try if you're feeling indulgent. Although I do not claim to be a Hamburger Connoisseur, I would choose this burger over Burger Barn any day. The patties here are always fresh and juicy, unlike the dried out reheated ones elsewhere. The service ma... View all feedback.
What Lillian W dislikes about Circus Room Diner:
Love the deep fried cheese cake. No tap water. Had to buy bottled water. Service was not bad. Noticed prices went up since the last visit. Tax is included which is nice. No credit card accepted. ATM machine on the property. View all feedback.
I noticed on another review site this place has a 4.3 stars. Do they own that site? Besides a rude waitress, I sense she doesn’t like Asian’s of which my wife is, but after I was extremely nice to her she mellowed a bit. The food was a Bad Joke! Portions were ok but that just means more left on the plate. Burnt Wings, overcooked Sweet Potatoes fries and my so-called “Schnitzel Burger” was nothing more than slices of Back Bacon with slices of regular bacon added, on top of a soggy bun that was falling apart with the first bite. I had a side of bunt and broken onion rings. Plus, I don’t know if it was intentional, but I believe my wife was food poisoned, and I don’t say this lightly. Anti-Asian? Later that night and to the next morning she experienced strong stomach pains and she is NEVER sick. What kind of Circus are they running there?! Maybe the clown from the movie IT was the cook, but this is no joke. If you want at least decent and safe food, go somewhere else; anywhere else! Oh and to ad insult to injury, it was just shy of $40 with no drink, just a soggy bacon sandwich with burnt onion rings, and my wife’s 8 wings and SP Fries : Btw I didn’t take the time to take pics cause both our phones were in the car. Ironically, we were so hungry we could’ve “eaten a horse” which, in hindsight, would have been a better option :
We stopped in for lunch last week. The staff member who served us was delightful. My chicken Caesar wrap was very good. The fries were ok but pretty tasteless. I'd order the chunky fries next time. The turkey open faced sandwich was ok.
Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! The bartender barked orders at the very, very young bus boy the entire time we were in there. It was horrible! The food was greasy and nasty. It was suppose to come with sides it did not. The patrons were drunk (it was dinner time). I've lived here for 6 years, this was my first time in this establishment and it will be my last. Cash only business too, so we know what that means. NOT a nice place and definitely do not bring children in here. Did I say YUCK yet!
