A busy shellfish and seafood restaurant by Silves Town Hall. Nice shaded pavement seating with views of a little square with a fountain. A glass of a local Algarve white wine went well with fresh crab then fish of the day (golden dorado). Very friendly and efficient service. But Note: they don't take credit cards. There is an ATM fairly close by. Obrigado pela acolhida. View all feedback.

En vacances au Portugal ce resto ns a été recommandé. Nous y sommes allés. Bien reçu, on mange bien. View all feedback.
The fish soup and vegetable soup was so watered that the taste was not present. I had the Bacalhau, it was terrible, a plate of bones on dry bread. The vegetables on my plate Broccoli, carrots, potatoes were cooked at... at least 2 hours, just a soggy mess. The Rosenhaus wine had no taste, tastefully diluted. Couldn't get out of the place fast enough. Such a disappointment compared to our meal there 3 years ago . will never go back.
When we first visited this restaurant, it was perfect. What is normal for a 600 Euro lunch for four people. Last year we went back, it was a mistake to gooing a second time. Lobster was stuck in the rabbits, everything else was not to eat meat. dry as in
To be honest, I wasn’t sure how to rate this restaurant. For starters, I thought the guy who greeted visitors was really pleasant and polite. He was up front with me when he said there could be a 10-minute wait. I passed the time away...strolling in the area. He called me to a table as soon as he saw me. Good customer service from that guy. Secondly, I thought the percebes and the grilled salmon were fresh. I enjoyed these dishes immensely. Now, for the negatives. They brought me the ends of the bread loaf. I noticed the group who came after me had fresh buns. My fault for not speaking out. The fish soup was also bland. Lastly, I had to wait for a while for the grilled salmon. Considering that it took me a while to finish the percebes and the fish soup, I had assumed the salmon would have been ready then. So I would say caveat emptor.
Thought we might be able to have the set menu but not available evenings. Were brought bread, olives and ham which we hadn't ordered so sent back the ham olives Ordered soup which was nice, then fish for Mick and veal escalopes for...me. Fish wasn't filleted. We were given stale bread wrapped in clingfilm then realised that Portuguese people received nice fresh rolls! Seem to be biased against tourists so wouldn't visit again.
We got food which we not ordered. Before we could order drinks we had a plate with cheese, olives, butter, sardine paste and bread on the table. Nothing was ordered but we had to pay for, Ok, but it was over priced at the end....We told this the waiter, but he ignored us. The food we ordered was also not of good quality. Avoid this place. Unfortunately we had not checked before the comments of others.
