The restaurant is under new management and this is by far the best restaurant I ate in Portugal. The food is extraordinary, excellent quality and very good price. Both the fish and meat meals were exquisite. I had grilled octopus and my husband had ribs. We came back a second time and I had squid and my husband had the ribs again!!! The service was friendly and they make you feel like at home. Thank you so much Luciana and Max, hope we can visit you again

The meal was fine but very noisy as there was a group of us about 25 and it was also busy. Lots of comments about the wine not being good though! I don't drink so can't comment

Stop here regular for a bifana and caneca, great prices and friendly service. Usually busy at lunch. We also visit for dinner as good food and drink at very reasonable prices. The black pork chops are excellent. Use this restaurant on every visit to Portugal and are never disappointed.

This is a very typical Portuguese resturant, long rows of tables, paper cloths. Mostly a lunch time, plate of the day place but they will do meals at night. I HAVE VISITED FOUR RESTURANTS IN THE mESSINS SREA, ALL HAVE VARYING PROBLEMS, SOME SERIOUS BUT THIS DOES NOT, sMALL, aLGARVIAN BREAD IS NORMALLY VERY NICE, THEIRS IS NOT; STALE/DRY TASTELESS, AND THE PAPER NAPKINS ARE TISSUE THIN.tHAT SAID, THE STEAK WAS HUGE AND VERY NICE.sO WAS THE SALAD (DRESSED) AND THE CHIPS, NOT THANKFULLY,F, WERE NICE. cOUPLES WITH FRESH aLGARVIAN ORANGE JUICE, A FEAST AND ALL FOR €15! bUT WHAT MADE IT SPECIAL WAS THE WAITERESS, SPoke Eng,, attentertive and a lovely smile.
