Wow, given the current reviews, did we apparently come on the wrong night. (Last Friday). Three parties piled in to the entrance, only to be rudely told its seat yourself. Sign shortage? The waitress flipped a couple of menus at us, so to try to help we quickly asked for a beverage, another snap, I 'll be back for your drink order. She came back and slung some plates of food at the folks at the table next to us. Ok, time to leave. Headed for Avalanche, had an excellent pizza and great beer, and most importantly, in a service industry for goodness sake, a pleasant and happy place.

We actually got to dine with the owner, Rudy himse... read more This Mexican restaurant is amazing! It is now called Rudy's, previously known as the Teller Hotel Restaurant. We actually got to dine with the owner, Rudy himself! I ordered the carne asada and it was delicious. The flavors in all of the dishes were incredible and everything is homemade and cooked fresh daily. They are closed for the winter months, but Rudy will be there until October 1st. If you are visiting the Silverton area this year, be sure to stop in for the best Mexican food around. And don't forget to try their amazing Margaritas - they are fresh and delicious with no artificial sweeteners. I highly recommend the jalapeño one.
