I'm marking one star for inconsistency. This restaurant opens and closes on a whim seemingly. They shut down to take extended vacations at the beginning of the year with no thought to the wellfare of the employees that rely on their jobs to live.
The service was excellent. The root vegetable puree was delicious. The crab cakes were mostly crab rather than bredding and delicious. The local veggies we're great but the serving size was too small. Loved this meal.
We are so lucky to have this fine restaurant in our town. Equals the best in Portland without the drive. The worst part is choosing from the menu. The owners are your chef and servers. You will be treated with the utmost care. They could be theexample and set the bar for other local eateries.

My wife and I had Valentines dinner at the Silver Grille. Naomi our waitress was amazing. I’m not sure that I’ve ever had a better waitress. As far as the food goes, the surf and turf I had melted in my mouth. I didn’t try the pork my wife had butshe was raving about it all the way home to Sherwood. Do yourself a favor and make reservations at the Silver Grille. It’s notjust a night out for dinner it’s a true culinary experience.
