On our next visit, we ordered the queso fundido, which was decent, but the tortillas were fantastic. We also had an excellent sweet potato dish and a flower cauliflower dish that was equally impressive. I was thoroughly impressed, especially since I can be a picky eater. The portions are generous enough to share. As for the steak, it was very good, but one of my friends ordered the pork, which I plan to try next time. Again, the portions are ample for sharing. I know this restaurant can be a bit pricey, but they really make use of ingredients like sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Honestly, spending fifty dollars for a large, delicious steak is standard at most restaurants, and here the portions are more than enough to share. I highly recommend giving this place a chance. The food is really good, unique, and the ambiance in Silverado is wonderful. You can't ask for more than that!
This was our first time at Xacalli, and the dining experience was fantastic. We ordered the New Yorker steak, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant made for a wonderful experience, with fresh vegetables sourced from their garden. The staff was very friendly as well. We highly recommend Xacalli!
We have dined in the xacalli kitchen on a last Thursday evening and it was an extraordinary adventure in aromen from beginning to end. the smokey old fashions were a delicious pouring out. the ceviche was delectable and both the lamb and the pigeon were excellent. also the fresh, homemade mais and flourtortillas were delicious. we had no room for dessert that speaks for the size of the portions. each employee was polite, knowledgeable and engaged. overall, the value is in the quality of food and the attentive service we receive. we recommend xacalli kitchen and plan, soon again with friends and family!
The first time in the restaurant. we were the first, and I wondered as a new restaurant if it would survive, but when the night on the restaurant was full and it was obvious that people enjoyed themselves. eating was very unique in terms of offers and presentation. it was all excellent and decent size part. we had the queso fundido deal and the fish. more than enough for 2. the service was very attentive by the night.
