It was a crazy busy night for the staff and they were extremely concerned to have us understand their limitations and wait times for food, however, we didn't think we had to wait very long and the server was so pleasant! My daughter and I felt very comfortable and welcomed herre, not like at the Red Antler. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bulldog Grand Cafe:
The menu online suggests a variety of gluten-free options, but the on-site menu simply states that "gluten-free options are available." When we asked our waitress, she was unhelpful and only mentioned gluten-free buns for burgers. She assumed that the burgers were safe to eat, as well as a curry dish and salad. We love this place! We took our company from Saskatchewan up Silverstar. They were amazed at the amount of snow and the overall beauty. Of course, we had to introduce them to the Bulldog, and they did not disappoint. We stopped for a beer and nachos, and I have to say the food presentation is incredible. We shared our order of nachos, which was enough to feed four. They were delicious. We will continue to share this venue with all who visit us.
Delicious full flavoured food, excellent service and solid beer selection. Full range of selections with something to meet everyone's needs.
Had lunch there twice. The food was excellent. The soup of the day was great as well as chicken taco and blackened tuna salads. The service was prompt. I recommend this place.

There are a number of pub options in Silverstar and the Bulldog is a stalwart and usually has a solid offering of food and alcohol. The beer and wine remains fine, but this year the food and service were not as they have been in the past. The signature burger was disappointing, the nachos confused and the nasi goreng tasteless. There are better options this season but hopefully the Bulldog returns to form soon.
