1609 Restaurant & Lounge

Had a late dinner Friday night after Marina Nights. Location and view are great. We felt rushed by our server . The seafood pasta was a disaster-- not hot, poorly presented. The flatbread was well presented and tasty as was the veggie burger. Very average pub type food . Don't expect fine dining. There is some strip lighting which is too bright to make it cozy. Hated the fact that the condiments were served in little bottles that were going in the land fill after one use! Can't seem to make up its mind if it is a pub or fine dining.

We had 1609 cater our wedding - the food was exceptional, Chef Eric went above and beyond to meet all our requests. All our guests raved about the food, Chef worked with us to create a menu that worked for us, he went outside the box to wow our guests. Gemma - the manager was amazing, we can't express how much of a stress relief it was to deal with her. She was so organized and went out of her way to ensure our whole evening ran smooth and as planned. She even went out of her way to help us with things at the venue that were not part of her job.

Great burgers. Very family friendly! Service can be a bit slow and it gets busy over the holidays. Reservations strongly recommended.

I loved dining at this restaurant, the menu was varied and fantastic. The view is lovely from this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed the epic hot chocolate here, it was truly wonderful!
