Greek Village - Silver Spring

Good food, good prices and good service! We're meat this time, but we're planning to try the fish next time. The food was $6 and had a lot of food for this price (see photo). We're definitely going back!

A nice neighborhood restaurant. They offer traditional Greek fare and nice standard comfort food. I enjoy their fish and kebabs. Save room for the baklava.

Update 4/16/22: got the same meal last night and it was fantastic. The potatoes were a little more browned which gave them a nice character. The Athenian Chicken dish has lovely subtle flavors. The village bread was also wonderful. Sas efcharisto! Original: The food was great and the server was really nice. The chicken dish I had would have benefited from capers or something, but the chicken was wonderfully prepared, the potatoes a little under seasoned and could have been a little more browned. But overall very enjoyable.

I had a lovely dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the trout special, which came with Greek potatoes and green beans with tomatoes. The house Greek wine was crisp and dry, making for a refreshing pairing. My husband liked his gyro plate as well. The staff was very friendly too!
