The food was exceptiona... read more I discovered that this restaurant was one of the top Ethiopian restaurants in the DC area, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. I have tried Ethiopian food at other restaurants before, but Beteseb impressed me the most, and I am eagerly looking forward to returning. We ordered the meat/vegetable combination platter, and every dish was incredibly flavorful. As someone who is conscious of cleanliness, I was pleased to see how spotless and well-maintained the restaurant was. The fact that it was packed with customers is a clear indication of the high quality of the food.

I had never had Ethiopian food before stopping in here. The server helped us pick a couple of dishes that we shared. A mixture of vegetarian and meat options. I was a bit hesitant about eating with my hands with the Injera bread, but it was great. Highly recommended.
