Disappointing and deceptive. Despite the stylish decor and excellent customer service, from the host to the bartenders to the servers, you may be fooled into thinking you'll have a fine dining experience. Girl at front desk ignored me for a few, wandered off on the phone without even acknowledging me. I saw other staff telling each other to go take care of her until she finally came back. Otherwise everything was excellent!!
I recently had the best sandwich ever at this restaurant: smoked mushrooms with BBQ sauce, homemade pickles, and vegan slaw on a pretzel bun. I love it so much that I could eat it every day. During my last visit yesterday, I noticed that they no longer offer BBQ jackfruit tacos or a separate vegan menu as mentioned in a previous review. However, vegan options are clearly marked on the regular menu. They offer a vegan eggplant sandwich, vegan mushroom risotto, quinoa-black bean burger with BBQ sauce, and buffalo cauliflower bites with vegan ranch. I have tried all of these options except for the eggplant sandwich, and they were all delicious. The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are able to assist with vegan options. (Updated from previous review on 2022-05-03)
This place had a few good looking vegan options. I got the mushroom sandwich with NC bbq on a pretzel bun. It was fantastic. My friend got the black bean quinoa burger with KC bbq sauce—I tried and wouldn’t recommend. I love bbq sauce and wish they had more dishes that featured it prominently like drummies where the food can be doused with sauce. So glad they have vegan cheese, sauces, and wings! They also run a bbq food truck in Silver Spring with vegan selections.
That is probably the fourth or fifth time that we were set in all for brunch and it was always a wonderful experience. the food, coffee and ambiente invites you and the seafood tastes so fresh that they are fucked away in silver spring!
Everyone is friendly and helpful, and eating is great!
