What drvums doesn't like about Mill Canyon Grill:
Enjoy one the best nature parks you can visit but find somewhere else to eat. Very slow service by an angry waitress. Kids running around screaming and the food was one step above fast food. View all feedback.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. I don’t know the head chef but he/she prepares the entree with well thought out and balanced thought. Two thumbs!!!
It's such a shame. The Mill and Canyon Grill was at one point a brilliant restraunt with a great menu with a mix of locally sourced ingredients and carefully prepared cuisine. The great news is that you still get to pay those prices for mediocre food and beverages. I ordered a burger fries and their signature old-fashioned. It was all bad, plain burgers and fries, and I had to send their old-fashioned back. I've had thousands of old-fashions (I'm not an alcoholic it's by drink). I've been to the heart of bourbon country; this was an abomination. The second attempt was still bad. The wait staff got food wrong, then demanded to fix it and made a scene in front of the entire dining hall, loudly proclaiming they were more stubborn. Despite being told not too they then brought the food out (we are almost done eating at this point) and then made such a scene that I literally had to tell them they were making it 1000 times worse. About $140 for 4 people for lunch, appetizers, drinks, burgers, salads, and chili, all of which were well below expectations or historical experiences. It's such a shame. I used to love this restaurant, and my whole family talked all week about how excited we were to spend time there again.
This is our second time eating here. Once inside and this time on the patio. It's such a nice part of Dogwood Canyon. Today we just had a club sandwich, some fried ravioli and a craft beer while sitting on the patio next to a waterfall. Really what is better than that.

Always great food when we visit. It was a longer wait than normal this time because it was so busy. It also took longer to get the food out, but we understood. The food was great! We got the bison burger. We'll eat there again the next time we visit Dogwood Canyon.
