We had lunch here on a Wednesday after visiting the Paza do Oca gardens. The restaurant wasn’t crowded when we arrived at 1pm when lunch started. The menu is large including pizza. We ordered a Spanish tortilla, salad, and fish. Our food was excellent. The Spanish tortilla was one of the best we had on our trip and the bread was even better. Service was very friendly. Prices are below average. There is street parking in front. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we stopped by a second time on a Sunday later in our trip. This time there were more locals having lunch or a drink with lots of atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. It was so good, it’s even worth going a little bit out of your way for.
Generous and price-bound They’ll treat you very well : friendly and attentive . Fantastic products of great quality at very good price
Our hotel recommended the Bodegon and we weren’t disappointed. Delicious salad and there was a huge choice of different ones and a pizza generously laden with all sorts of goodies. There was plenty of food to choose from the menu. Just the sort of simple fare you need to replenish after a tough, wet walk. Average prices. Good atmosphere, with all the locals on their lunch break. Friendly service with a smile.
At the far end of town, a local bar/restaurant with good food and good service. I had a lunchtime beer and nice breakfast burger (eggs, bacon, cheese, etc, for less than 6euro. Evening menu del dia is typical format at 12euro but came with an appetizer of 2pinchos/tapas. I left the choice to lady owner and had a whiting type starter (but bigger , steak with salad, cheesecake, nice bottle of vino tinto and coffee. Competent and friendly service. All very tasty. What more could you want?
