Our waiter that served us was rea... read more Our family of 14 ate here for lunch during our tour of Siena. There were some good points, but also some below average points. Our waiter that served us was really nice, but the rest of the staff or anyone else that came to our table was not friendly. The braised veal cheek was amazing. But the zucchini and pecorino balls, along with the steak, were average. The tuscan tomato soup wasnt good at all, it tasted like canned tomatoes. The restaurant itself was pretty but not sure if I would return given other places to try in Siena.

Our October evening was warm enough to sit outside in the alleyway and had great service with lovely wine. I had the Tortelli special, and my husband the Tagliata and both were delightful. Definitely not a tourist place and worth a visit.

Another successful find on our Tuscany trip. Happened to drop on this restaurant and it was a real find. Best Wild Boar Ragu yet and my wife had the Pesto Pasta... read more Another successful find on our Tuscany trip. Happened to drop on this restaurant and it was a real find. Best Wild Boar Ragu yet and my wife had the Pesto Pasta which was delicious. However, it's clearly known for its Steak so definitely something we'd try on our next visit.

Looked like a daughter got a medical degree ..we had beautiful Wine brunello and vernacca) and ended w tiramisu. Old Spanish feeling lighting, brick ceiling..very fun .
