Ok, so the gelato was quite good. I had blackberry and it was tart and fruity. The rest of the family also seemed to enjoy theirs coffee and cookies. However, they don’t show a visible price list and I paid €15 for three of the smallest cones. Absolutely scammed at this place today. Unfortunately I've only just read the reviews that this is standard for this place. They charged without warning for sitting on the terrace for 5 minutes. We only sat there because the cafe smelt like the toilet which is positioned centrally within it. Staff were incredibly rude. It seems scamming tourists is how they make their money though. Avoid at all costs!!!
This place makes me hate cities like Siena. I will never come to Siena again due this complete ripoff ! 28 Euro for 3 ice creams ! And don't complain or they get rude. Shame on Siena that they give places like this even an opportunity to exhist. Smells like money laundry looks like money laundry and ripping off tourists. Discusting !
I seriously don’t know why they have bad reviews. When I traveled around Italy I tried Pistachio Gelato from everywhere I went. This place had the best I have ever tasted in my entire life!!
Clean local, good service, a bit expensive on ice cream, but served abundantly. nice balcony with view on the square.
Better aperitif to siena made so far, I say it from Siena. we have served two spritz bells with peanuts, blackberries and olives. the best bells drank so far. I'll be back
